Missions

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

~~Matthew 28:18-20

David & Nicole Beger
International Messengers
http://www.im-usa.org

David recently traveled to Beirut training church planters. The students represent a variety of backgrounds. Some work with refugees, some are church planters, some work with children, and some work in countries like Syria. One had even been held captive and tortured by ISIS for three weeks. They are from different cultures, ethic backgrounds, and even languages. Yes, many differences among them, but one cause: the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray for them and their strength to endure. The students have now graduated from the Training Center. Four of them will enter a one- year internship with IM. For the most part, they will intern in Damascus (Syria), Latakia (Syria), and Beirut (Lebanon). WOW!

Marv Cowan
Utah - Missions Door

Ministry Focus

The Cowans were appointed by Missions Door as church-planting missionaries to Utah in 1961. After starting and pastoring churches for several years, they wanted to do more to evangelize Mormons and help other Christians become more effective in reaching them.

To accomplish that, Marv has taught seminars on witnessing to Mormons and he and others launched Utah Christian Publications, which he oversees.

As part of that ministry he wrote and published books and tracts that show the difference between Mormonism and the Bible. Utah Christian Publications makes those available with other good books, tapes, videos, DVDs, etc., that provide help in witnessing to Mormons.
