We have many opportunities to grow:
Hebrews 5:11-14 – “About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.”

How we teach:
The nursery accommodates babies through their third birthday or toilet training if that comes later. Toddlers will receive a simplified Bible lesson that tracks with the older children and their lesson is taught as factual history, not ‘story time’.
Our children ages 4 through fifth grades are all on the same track, learning through the entire Bible in 3 years at the appropriate maturity level. Again, these lessons are taught as factual history, not stories. Parents are encouraged to use the handout every week for a family worship time at home.
Middle school and High School-aged children are taught a variety of Biblical topics and, during the course of their six-year tenure, will be exposed to the entire curriculum of Fundamentals of the Faith and Firm Foundations.
Adult Bible Fellowship Classes are intentionally designed toward identifying members’ spiritual maturity level and then coming alongside to increase that maturity through Biblical instruction and mentorship.
Children are highly encouraged to join AWANA which meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:45pm to 7:45pm. AWANA is a worthwhile program that teaches Bible memorization and mixes in fun activities. There are also camp and Vacation Bible School opportunities available for children and youth during the summer.

Counseling – “Soul Care”
Biblical counseling, or Soul Care, is available for those who need it. Soul Care is vastly different than the world’s way of counseling. It glorifies God by assisting believers in their progressive sanctification by pointing them to Christ through the ministry of God’s sufficient Word. See Ephesians 1:12; I Corinthians 2:14; Hebrews 12:14; Philippians 2:12; Colossians 1:28; II Peter 1:3-4. Pastors and Lay-Leaders are available for Counseling. Appointments are made by calling the church office at (928) 537-7555.
